Vomit-Inducing

I know we already have one like this.... but this might just be worse. This HOrrendous house was accessorized with the sign "Home of a Cowboy" over the garage. Heaven help us.

Pretty sure that taking a nap at 11am in the resident workroom is not what 3rd year med students are supposed to be doing.

Missing Faxes anyone??

So I was working in the clinic at the Cancer Center today, and the doctor I was working with was waiting for a fax that she had requested be sent twice already because we hadn't received it. We searched all around the fax machine on nearby desks, etc. and she had resigned her self to calling the other hospital to resend the fax AGAIN.

An office worker saw our desperation and mentioned that every once in a while a paper slips behind the file cabinet that the fax machine was sitting on. I reached my head over, and what do you know, there was about 50 sheets of paper that had slid down from the fax machine! We had to pull the entire file cabinet out and I picked up all the papers! (I am the med student so I get to do the useful jobs like that!) :) And while I was collecting all these faxes (which were all important and much needed at one point!), I found the piece of the fax machine that is supposed to catch all the papers that feed out of the fax machine....behind the file cabinet is a REALLY good place for it.

Seriously, worst idea ever.

Oh, and p.s. to put the cherry on the sundae, another nurse walked by once I had cleaned up this mess (that had absolutely nothing to do with me...but I still cleaned it up), and she told us that she had the fax that the doctor was looking for on her desk. She had generously picked it up off the fax machine quite a while ago. Seriously.....

Baby diarrhea

Seriously...who paints their house the color of baby diarrhea? This is two houses down from ours...and NO, it wasn't painted in the 80s. They JUST repainted it to this color.

Incompetant Rollerblading

I think certain people are not meant to do certain things. Example: Amber rollerblading. While rollerblading early this morning with Ash and Gracie running ahead, Amber found herself traveling too quickly downhill. In attempt to slow down, she braked, right over crack in the sidewalk. The result: a face full of cobwebby bushes. Thank GOODNESS the person who lives at that house was coming out of her house at that exact moment and saw the whole situation unravel.

Perhaps it isn't quite noticeable in this picture, but there is a dent in those bushes.
